A part of the government of india’s sagarmala initiative, which aims at developing the country’s coastal areas, the mumbai-alibaug ro-ro ferry service will be open for business in about a month.. Mumbai – mandwa speedboat service we offer speedboat transfer service from gateway of india, mumbai to mandwa jetty on private speedboats throughout the day. if you need a private speedboat to go to mandwa or alibaug, you can book any of our premium speedboats and reach your destination in just 20 to 30 minutes.. Launch and catamaran service is in operation between mumbai "gateway of india" & mandwa from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm. it takes about an hour to reach from gateway of india to mandwa. there are three companies operating this service and they offer free bus coach from mandwa to alibaug s.t. depot. bus journey is about 45 minutes..
The boats can be pretty crowded during long weekends, holidays and peak hours. and you cannot carry your vehicles in them. it usually takes 45–50 mins to reach mandwa from mumbai and then another 40-45 mins to reach to alibag from mandwa. along i have attached the timetables for the same. I understand that there is a regular ferry service from the gateway of india in mumbai to alibaug. can some one tell me the frequency of this service and when the first & last sevice commence.. The much-awaited water transport service begins next month; will give alibaug’s development a fillip your next trip to alibaug can be shorter and more relaxed. just drive into a ferry, sit tight.
